• About:

  Dr. Meera earned her BVSc & AH degree from College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Mannuthy and completed her MVSc in Animal Genetics and Breeding from ICAR-National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal. She did her PhD at College of Veterinary Science, Khanapara, Assam and holds a PG diploma in Therapeutic Management of Infectious Diseases of Pet Animals and Pet Birds from Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University. Additionally, she completed one-year Certified Livestock Advisor programme by MANAGE, Hyderabad. Before joining ICAR, she served as Veterinary Surgeon in the Animal Husbandry Department of Government of Kerala. Her research interests include development of sustainable breeding strategies for genetic improvement of animals and exploration of the role of non coding RNAs in gene regulation.
